  • Consumer-affairs and economic activity — ASAE (Autoridade de Segurança Alimentar e Económica) and DGC (Direccão-Geral do Consumidor) — www.consumidor.gov.pt.
  • EU online dispute resolution: under EU Regulation 524/2013, consumers may use the European Commission's ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. The Service is, however, offered to businesses (B2B); the ODR procedure does not generally apply to B2B contracts.
  • Voluntary alternative dispute resolution: Mirox does not currently adhere to a sectoral arbitration centre. Disputes are subject to the courts of Lisbon, Portugal, as set out in the Terms of Service.

Governing law

Mirox is incorporated under the laws of the Portuguese Republic. The Terms of Service and the Data Processing Agreement are governed by Portuguese law and, subject to mandatory consumer rules, the courts of Lisbon, Portugal have exclusive jurisdiction.
