Amazon Ads Agent: what its AI does for your campaigns today, and who has it
Amazon Ads Agent is the new name of the ads console and DSP (29 Sep 2026). Its Sponsored Products chat is a closed beta, so the AI most sellers use today is the recommendations list. Check each line against what a click is worth before you apply it.

Do this today
1Open the recommendations (the bell → Quick tasks, or the recommendations page). Every line is pre-selected, so untick everything first. Recommendations expire 14 days after they're made.
2Check each line against your numbers. A bid above what a click is worth (profit before ads × conversion rate) gets edited down or skipped. A budget increase only where ACoS is under break-even ACoS (profit before ads ÷ price).
3Note what you applied and look again after two weeks in your own report (Amazon's guide says to give changes at least two weeks).
The common mistake
Pressing Apply on the whole list: every line is pre-ticked, so a bid raise above what a click is worth goes in with the good ones. In the example, a $1.80 bid on a $1.50 click turns +$30 per 100 clicks into −$30. And reading "Amazon Ads Agent" as an AI that now runs your account: for most sellers it's the console with a new name.
